What is the position size calculator
The position size calculator will help you calculate the size of your position based on your account size and defined risk. Managing risk is vital in trading to ensure consistent results, and prevent a single trade from wiping out your account.
How does the position size calculator work
Select your trading instrument from the drop down menu.
Select your desired currency.
Input your stop loss in pips.
Input your account balance.
Input your risk. This can be either a percentage of your account, or a set amount of currency.
Input the trade size. Note: 1 lot = 100,000 units.
Click Calculate.
The calculator will suggest the position size for your trade.
